ABOUT TOM LININSH

I know what it feels like to lose the body you relied on.

Twenty years of coaching, tested by endurance sport, chronic illness, serious knee pain and the long process of rebuilding.

EXPERIENCE CHANGED BY EXPERIENCE

Knowledge matters. Lived understanding changes how it is used.

I began in gyms, helping people become fitter, leaner and stronger. But the outdoors showed me the gap between looking fit and being genuinely capable. Endurance sport, injury and the demands of real life changed the way I trained and coached.

Then knee pain and chronic inflammatory bowel disease stripped away my own movement, energy and confidence. Rebuilding taught me patience, humility and the importance of joining the whole picture together.

WHAT I BRING

A wider lens on health and capability.

No single qualification explains a whole person, so my approach draws from disciplines that genuinely connect.

01

Strength & conditioning

Progressive training that develops practical force, control and long-term physical capacity.

02

Biomechanics & natural movement

An understanding of how feet, joints, breathing and movement strategies influence the whole system.

03

Breath, recovery & resilience

Endurance experience, breathwork and recovery coaching that extend far beyond the gym.

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Build people up. Do not break them down.

The hardest workout is rarely the cleverest. Coaching should create capability, understanding and ownership.

01

Meet reality honestly

Start from the body, health, confidence and life you have today—not the person you think you should be.

02

Connect the pieces

Bring training, food, recovery, stress and environment together around the outcome that matters.

03

Prepare for life

Build a body and mindset able to adapt, endure and keep engaging with the world.
